Florida Georgia Line’s “Dig Your Roots” Reaches Platinum In US; DNCE Album “Gold”

“Dig Your Roots” and “DNCE” crossed the 1 million and 500,000 unit marks, respectively.

The RIAA issued two US album certifications over the past week.

Florida Georgia Line’s “Dig Your Roots” earned a platinum certification on August 7, 2017.

Three days earlier, DNCE’s “DNCE” reached the gold threshold.

The awards confirm 1 million and 500,000 in US album units, respectively. Each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Dig Your Roots” has spawned platinum singles in “May We All” and “God, Your Mama, And Me (featuring Backstreet Boys)” and a triple platinum smash in “H.O.L.Y.”

DNCE’s album includes the triple platinum “Cake By The Ocean” and gold-certified “Toothbrush.”
