Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” Receiving Early Pop Radio Airplay In San Francisco, Myrtle Beach, More

Several stations – including some major market ones – are beginning to spin “New Rules.”

Originally set to impact on August 22, Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” will now be formally going for pop radio adds on August 8.

Some stations are not even willing to wait that long.

According to Mediabase, “New Rules” has picked up early airplay in San Francisco, Myrtle Beach, New York, and Springfield (Missouri).

San Francisco’s 99.7 NOW, the leading supporter, played the song 9 times in the seven days ending August 1. Myrtle Beach stations Energy 92.1 and Mix 97.7 played the song 8 times and 3 times, respectively, while New York’s 92.3 AMP offered 2 spins.

Springfield’s KSPW also played the song twice in that seven-day window.
