Update: It appears Sabrina Carpenter’s “Why” will actually impacting pop radio this week (August 15 add board).

The date had been originally reported as August 22.

Last week, Headline Planet Tweeted the news that Sabrina Carpenter’s “Why” had been issued to pop radio.

Label Hollywood Records just announced an official impact date for the song.

The single will go for adds in conjunction with the August 22 pop radio add board.

“Why” will function as the follow-up to Carpenter’s “Thumbs.” The song, which became her first single to make the US pop chart, peaked in the Top 30.
