Rihanna, who holds the active record for most RIAA-certified digital single units, just picked up another new certification in the United States.

The artist’s rhythmic and urban hit “Needed Me” just crossed the 5x platinum threshold.

The award was formally issued on July 21, 2017. It confirms 5 million in US units.

Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Rihanna boasts the greatest number of US digital single certifications — and is actually one of only two artists (the other being Taylor Swift) to hit the 100 million unit threshold.
