RIAA Confirms 5X Platinum Certification For Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home,” 2x Award For Julia Michaels’ “Issues”

The certifications had been confirmed in press releases; RIAA made the news official in its latest certification update.

A recent Fifth Harmony press release revealed that the group’s hit single “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” had been certified 5x platinum in the United States. The group subsequently confirmed the news on its social accounts.

A recent Julia Michaels press release said that her breakthrough “Issues” had been certified 2x platinum in the United States.

In its Tuesday morning database update, the RIAA formally confirmed the two certifications.

It revealed that “Work From Home” went quintuple platinum on July 14, 2017. “Issues” went double platinum on the same day.

The awards respectively confirm 5 million and 2 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
