Arcade Fire’s new “Everything Now” launched on the US iTunes store late Thursday night.

It quickly shot to #1 on the store’s all-genre sales chart, and it holds that position as of 1:45AM ET Friday morning.

“Everything Now” is actually the only new release currently in the Top 5.

The “Descendants 2” soundtrack and Lana Del Rey’s “Lust For Life,” which both launched last week, respectively follow at #2 and #3. Jay-Z’s recently released “4:44” is #4, while Meek Mill’s July 21 release “Wins & Losses” is #5.

Manchester Orchestra’s new “A Black Mile To The Surface” (#6), Linkin Park’s “One More Light” (#7), Nine Inch Nails’ “Add Violence” EP (#8), Tyler, The Creator’s “Flower Boy” (#9), and Nichole Nordeman’s new “Every Mile Mattered” (#10) form the balance of the Top 10.
