Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber’s “Despacito” Earns 3rd Week As Pop Radio’s #1 Song

The global phenomenon continues to rule the US pop radio airplay chart.

Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber)” predictably tops a third straight Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The global smash received ~18,407 spins during the July 16-22 tracking week. The count trails last week’s mark by 196 plays but keeps “Despacito” comfortably ahead of the pack.

Zedd & Alessia Cara’s “Stay,” which again ranks as the #2 song, received ~15,655 spins during the tracking period (-1,718).

DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One (featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper & Lil Wayne)” holds at #3 with ~15,413 spins (-64), while Halsey’s “Now Or Never” keeps #4 on the strength of its ~15,216 plays (+405).

Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” again the #5 song, received ~14,995 spins. This week’s spin count tops last week’s mark by 1,950, which ranks as pop radio’s greatest airplay gain.
