The soundtrack rises following Friday night’s broadcast.

On the heels of Friday’s broadcast, the soundtrack to “Descendants 2” has entered the Top 5 of the US iTunes sales chart.

The album is at #5 on the all-genre listing as of press time at 1:10PM ET Saturday. The only albums currently selling at a faster pace include Lana Del Rey’s “Lust For Life” (#1), Meek Mill’s “Wins & Losses” (#2), Linkin Park’s “One More Light” (#3), and Linkin Park’s “Hybrid Theory” (#4).

The first “Descendants” soundtrack debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales (pure US sales) and Billboard 200 (album sales + track sales/10 + track streams/1500) charts.

Facing heavier competition, the “Descendants 2” album is not expected to debut at #1 on either chart. It should, however, start respectably on the listings.

— Currently #60 on the all-genre US iTunes songs chart, “What’s My Name” ranks as the album’s best-selling track. “Chillin’ Like A Villain” (#79), “It’s Goin’ Down” (#80), and “Ways To Be Wicked” (#97) also occupy Top 100 positions.
