Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out” Reaches 6X Platinum; “Heathens,” “Ride,” More Also Earn New Certifications

The RIAA issued several new certifications to songs by twenty one pilots.

Several twenty one pilots singles received new US digital single certifications on July 7, 2017.

The largest of the certifications went to “Stressed Out.” The duo’s smash is now 6x platinum in the United States.

Issued by the RIAA, the award confirms 6 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

twenty one pilots also received new certifications for “Heathens” (5x platinum; 5 million units), “Ride” (4x platinum; 4 million units), “House of Gold” (platinum, 1 million units) and “Holding On To You” (platinum, 1 million units).
