Update: As expected, Jay-Z’s “4:44” has reached the top of the US iTunes sales chart.

It holds #1 as of 9:40AM ET. HAIM’s “Something To Tell You,” which spent the early morning hours at #1, is now #2.

21 Savage’s “Issa Album” (#3), Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” (#4), and Imagine Dragons’ “Evolve” (#5) complete the Top 5.

HAIM’s “Something To Tell You” debuted on the US iTunes store late Thursday night.

It quickly shot to #1 on the store’s all-genre album sales chart, and it remains there as of 1:35AM ET.

It does, however, face a very imminent threat. Jay-Z’s “4:44” also launched on the service in conjunction with “New Music Friday,” and it is up to #2 on the chart. It obviously has a shot at reaching #1 shortly.

Ed Sheeran’s enduring “Divide” follows at #3, while Imagine Dragons’ “Evolve” and the “Baby Driver” soundtrack are #4 and #5, respectively.

21 Savage’s new “Issa Album” is #6, while Calvin Harris’ “Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1” occupies the #7 position. The “Trolls” soundtrack (#8), Parker McCollum’s “Probably Wrong: Session One” EP (#9) and the “Hamilton” cast recording (#10) complete the Top 10.
