Zedd & Alessia Cara’s “Stay” Headed For 4th Week As Pop Radio’s #1 Song

“Stay” will stay put at #1 on the pop radio airplay chart.

Zedd & Alessia Cara’s “Stay” will retain its throne on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The single received 10,863 spins during the first four days of the June 11-17 tracking week. Up 1.6% from the count at this point last week, the tally keeps “Stay” comfortably positioned at #1.

It does not face an imminent threat from below; Kygo x Selena Gomez’ “It Ain’t Me,” its closest competitor, trails by more than 2,000 spins — and is decelerating (8,703, -8.8%). The Chainsmokers & Coldplay’s building #3 “Something Just Like This” (8,224, -8.8%) is also of no concern.

Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s building #4 “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber)” is gaining at a much faster pace, but it has no chance of catching “Stay” this week. It received only 8,069 spins (+17.0%) during the first four days of the tracking week.

“Stay” will thus have no trouble retaining its position through the close of tracking. This will mark its fourth consecutive week at #1.
