“Cool Kids” reaches a new multi-platinum tier in America.

Echosmith’s breakthrough hit “Cool Kids” recently earned a new multi-platinum certification in the United States.

According to the RIAA, the song went triple platinum on June 9, 2017.

The certification confirms 3 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

A former iHeartRadio “On The Verge” pick, “Cool Kids” became a hit at hot adult contemporary and pop radio. It peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100.
