Ratings: HBO’s “The Leftovers” Viewership Rose For Penultimate Episode

The second-to-last “Leftovers” episode enjoyed a slight week-over-week viewership gain.

It may have aired on Memorial Day Weekend, but Sunday’s “The Leftovers” still managed to post a ratings gain.

According to national data posted by Showbuzz, this weekend’s episode drew a 0.30 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.81 million viewers. The previous episode posted a 0.29 in the demo and 0.77 million in viewership.

Sunday’s episode was the penultimate “Leftovers” installment. The series finale airs this Sunday.

While “The Leftovers” was up over its previous broadcast, lead-out comedies “Silicon Valley” and “Veep” suffered losses.

“Silicon Valley” drew a 0.32 rating and 0.73 million viewers this week; last week’s broadcast drew a 0.41 and 0.84 million.

“Veep” posted a 0.19 rating and 0.55 million viewership sum at 10:30PM. Last week’s “Veep” managed a 0.23 rating and 0.61 million in viewership.
