Looking At US Spotify Numbers For New Songs By Martin Garrix & Troye Sivan, Halsey & Lauren Jauregui, More

Early US Spotify numbers for songs like “There For You,” “Strangers,” “Remember I Told You,” and more.

The early release of Bryson Tiller’s album “True To Self” made for the biggest “New Music Friday” story. Lil Yachty’s newly released album “Teenage Emotions” also garnered considerable attention.

Tiller and Yachty were not, however, the only notable artists to release new music this week. New songs by Martin Garrix, Halsey, Nick Jonas, Carly Rae Jepsen and Rita Ora also debuted on Friday.

How did those new songs perform on Spotify in the US?

Martin Garrix’s “There For You (featuring Troye Sivan)” was the strongest opening day performer.

According to Spotifycharts.com, the collaboration garnered 558.4K first-day streams in the US. It was Friday’s #48 song on US Spotify.

Halsey’s “Strangers (featuring Lauren Jauregui),” followed at #81. It drove 367.2K US Spotify streams on Friday.

Nick Jonas’ “Remember I Told You (featuring Anne-Marie & Mike Posner)” took #143 with 248.7K streams, while Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Cut To The Feeling” earned #196 with 195.5K.

Ora’s new “Your Song,” which received 195.1K, grabbed #197 on the daily US chart.
