Early sales projections have emerged for Bryson Tiller’s “True To Self.”

Based on opening day data, Hits Daily Double projects “True To Self” will sell 40-50K pure US copies during the May 26-June 1 tracking week.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, “True To Self” could generate upwards of 110-130K first-week US consumption units.

Early projections have been less accurate since the switch to a Friday-Thursday tracking week, and the surprise nature of the release (it debuted one month ahead of schedule) could make opening day data particularly erratic.

But should the projections hold, “True To Self” would have a good shot at #1 on the Billboard 200 consumption chart. A #1 debut on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart would also be possible.
