HBO’s “Silicon Valley” Renewed For Season 5, “Veep” Confirmed For Season 7

HBO renews its critically acclaimed Sunday comedies.

Airing without lead-in support from “Game Of Thrones,” HBO’s “Silicon Valley” and “Veep” have taken big ratings hits this season.

The losses have not, however, caused HBO to waver in its support.

The premium network has officially renewed “Silicon Valley” for a fifth season and “Veep” for a seventh season.

Both seasons will premiere in 2018.
