Ben Platt has booked his debut appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

CBS confirms the “Dear Evan Hansen” star for the May 22 “Late Show.” He is listed as an interview and musical guest.

The May 22 “Late Show” will also feature an interview with Rachel Maddow.
