Selena Gomez’ New Single “Bad Liar” Samples “Psycho Killer” By Talking Heads

Due Thursday, “Bad Liar” apparently samples the ’70s classic.

As anticipation began to build for Selena Gomez’ new single “Bad Liar,” rumors began to emerge that it sampled a classic hit.

Gomez seemingly confirmed those rumors in a Tuesday night Tweet.

The artist shared a four-second teaser for the song. The teaser does not feature any Gomez vocals, but it does feature a sample of Talking Heads’ hit “Psycho Killer.”

The teaser is not the first connection between Selena Gomez and Talking Heads. A few years ago, Gomez posted a video about hearing a Talking Heads song in Miami.

Popular update account Selena Gomez News remembered the video and Tweeted it to Gomez Tuesday night. She replied with the smirking face emoji.

“Bad Liar” arrives on Thursday, May 18. It will go for immediate airplay, with the first adds to be reported on the May 23 add board.
