Ratings: HBO’s “The Leftovers,” “Veep” Decline, “Silicon Valley” Rises

Sunday’s editions of “The Leftovers” and “Veep” endured week-to-week losses in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

“Silicon Valley,” meanwhile, posted slight gains in the two columns.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Leftovers” drew a 0.29 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.81 million overall viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 0.32 and 0.85 million.

“The Leftovers” led into “Silicon Valley,” which drew a 0.40 and 0.77 million. The numbers top the 0.39 rating and 0.76 million viewer mark drawn last week.

“Veep” followed with a 0.18 adults 18-49 rating and 0.49 million in viewership. The series low numbers trail the 0.22 rating and 0.54 million viewer mark posted by last week’s episode.

“Last Week Tonight” closed this Sunday’s lineup with a 0.40 and 1.18 million. HBO did not air an original “Last Week Tonight” last week.
