Childish Gambino just earned his third platinum digital single certification in the United States.

The RIAA confirms that Gambino’s “Redbone” entered platinum territory on May 1, 2017.

The certification confirms at least 1 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Childish Gambino previously went platinum with singles “3005” and “Heartbeat.” He also has two gold-certified singles (“Sweatpants” and “Bonfire”) and a gold-certified album (“Because The Internet”).
