Auli’i Cravalho’s “How Far I’ll Go” Certified Platinum In US; Dwayne Johnson’s “You’re Welcome” Gold

The RIAA issues single certifications to a pair of standout tracks from “Moana.”

The “Moana” soundtrack went platinum in the United States on April 14, 2017.

One week later, two songs from the soundtrack earned RIAA certifications.

Auli’i Cravalho’s “How Far I’ll Go” officially went platinum on that date, while Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “You’re Welcome” earned a gold award.

The honors respectively confirm 1 million and 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The “Moana” soundtrack also includes Alessia Cara’s gold-certified rendition of “How Far I’ll Go.”
