Monday’s “Bates Motel” finale did not post monster numbers, but it did outperform the previous broadcast in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Monday’s “Bates” drew a 0.46 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.41 million overall viewers. The numbers top the 0.42 rating and 1.22 million viewer mark garnered by the penultimate installment.

Markedly below what the show drew in its early seasons, the viewership figure actually represents a season high.

The adults 18-49 rating ties for third place this season; it matched the March 6 episode but trailed the season premiere (0.51) and first Rihanna episode (0.48).
