Low-Rated “Powerless” Pulled From NBC’s Lineup

“Superstore” will move into the timeslot starting this week.

NBC has pulled “Powerless” from its lineup.

Beginning this week, NBC comedy “Superstore” will move into the 8:30PM timeslot on Thursdays. Re-runs of “Superstore” will air at 8PM.

NBC has not yet confirmed when the remaining first season episodes will air.

“Powerless” opened to disappointing ratings, and interest has only weakened in the weeks since. This past Thursday’s episode drew a paltry 0.6 adults 18-49 rating and 2.03 million viewers on a live+same-day basis.

A second season renewal was highly unlikely given the ratings; in removing the remaining first season episodes from the schedule, NBC essentially confirmed that the show will not be back next year.

Billed as the first comedy set in the DC Universe, “Powerless” stars Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches and Christina Kirk.
