NBC’s April 25 “The Voice” To Feature Special Christina Grimmie Announcement

Tuesdays’ “The Voice” will have news of interest to fans of the late Christina Grimmie.

In a press release for the late Christina Grimmie’s “Side B” EP, Republic Records notes that a special announcement is planned for Tuesday’s “The Voice” results show.

“In other CHRISTINA news, fans should tune in to NBC’s The Voice on April 25th at 8/7pm CT for a very special announcement,” says the press release.

Immensely popular on social media for years, Grimmie rose to mainstream fame on NBC’s music competition series. She placed third during the sixth season and later appeared on the show as a correspondent.

Grimmie was shot and killed in Orlando on June 10, 2016.

The new “Side B” EP, which arrived Friday, features four new Christina Grimmie songs (three new tracks, plus a re-produced version of “I Won’t Give Up”). It precedes the June 2 release of full-length album “All Is Vanity.”
