Ratings: FOX’s “Prison Break” Endures Another Decline

Interest in the revived “Prison Break” has already cooled considerably.

Only two episodes have aired since the show’s impressively rated premiere, and the revived “Prison Break” has already shed a sizable chunk of its audience.

The show, which opened with a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating and 3.83 million in overall viewership on April 4, fell to a 1.1 with 3.18 million viewers in week two.

It fell again this week.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, “Prison Break” drew a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating and 2.45 million viewers for this Tuesday’s telecast.

Competition from CBS’ “Bull” was stronger this week than it was last week but weaker than it was on April 4. This week’s episode did, however, have to battle with a two-hour installment of “The Voice.”

This week’s episode also aired following a re-run of “The Mick,” but it is not as if original installments of the show post monster ratings. The previous two “Prison Break” episodes built comfortably on their “Mick” lead-ins.

Earlier in the night, FOX aired “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (0.7, 1.92 million this week vs. 0.7, 1.91 million last week).
