Big Sean’s “I Decided” Officially Earns Gold Certification In US

Single “Moves” also receives a certification from the RIAA.

The RIAA has officially confirmed what Big Sean announced Tuesday night.

His recently released album “I Decided” has been certified gold in the United States.

Formally issued on April 18, 2017, the certification confirms at least 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

Big Sean additionally revealed that single “Moves” received a gold certification (500,000 single units; unit = 1 paid download or 150 track streams), but the RIAA has not yet added that certification to its web database.

Def Jam, moreover, touts that lead single “Bounce Back” is officially double-platinum in the US. The RIAA database still lists it as gold-certified.

Released on February 3, 2017, “I Decided” debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
