Def Jam: Big Sean’s “Bounce Back” Earns Double Platinum Certification In US

Big Sean [Will Heath/NBC]

Big Sean’s Top 10 hit “Bounce Back” is apparently a multi-platinum single in the United States.

That is the word from Def Jam’s radio team, which says the single is “certified double platinum” in its weekly update.

A double-platinum certification confirms 2 million in US units, with each unit equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams. “Bounce Back” has been a solid sales performer by modern standards, but the majority of its units have come from streams.

The official RIAA website does not yet reflect the certification. Its entry for “Bounce Back,” which was last updated in January 2017, refers to the song as gold.
