Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” Headed For #1 At Rhythmic Radio

Bruno Mars [Kai Feng | Atlantic]

While Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” appears destined for #1 at pop radio, it is unlikely to get there this week.

It will, however, reach #1 on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

The “24K Magic” single received 2,501 spins during the first three days of the April 2-8 tracking week. Up 14.8% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “That’s What I Like” at #1 on Mediabase’s building rhythmic chart.

“That’s What I Like” does not face any obvious threat from below and should thus have no trouble holding its position through the close of tracking.

“That’s What I Like” will be the second straight rhythmic #1 from Mars’ “24K Magic.” The lead single (and title track) reached the summit in December.
