Ratings: A&E “Bates Motel” Endures Slight Decline This Week

Bates Motel [A&E]

Airing against the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship game and without the support of a Rihanna appearance, Monday’s “Bates Motel” slipped in adults 18-49 and total viewership this week.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Monday’s “Bates” drew a 0.40 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.26 million viewers. Last week’s episode posted a 0.45 rating and 1.30 million.

While declines are never cause for celebration, it is hard to imagine tears being shed over a modest week-to-week loss in the face of major competition.
