Ed Sheeran’s “Castle On The Hill” Earns Most-Added Honor At Hot AC Radio

With “Shape Of You” finally starting to cool, hot adult contemporary radio programmers are beginning to embrace another Ed Sheeran single.

Picked up by 15 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations this week, “Castle On The Hill” ranks as the format’s most added song.

Ocean Park Standoff’s “Good News” takes second with 10 adds, while an add count of 7 earns Gavin DeGraw’s “Making Love With The Radio On” third place.

Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye (featuring Sean Paul & Anne-Marie),” which won support from 6 stations, follows as fourth-most added.

Each picked up by 5 stations, John Mayer’s “Still Feel Like Your Man,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human,” and Stargate’s “Waterfall (featuring P!nk & Sia)” tie for fifth.

A whopping seven songs follow in a tie for ninth place; Green Day’s “Still Breathing,” Imagine Dragons’ “Believer,” Linkin Park’s “Heavy (featuring kiiara),” LP’s “Lost On You,” Sam Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road,” The 1975’s “Somebody Else,” and The Revivalists’ “Wish I Knew You” each received 4 adds this week.
