Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” Will Remain #1 At Pop & Hot AC Radio

Ed Sheeran [CBS]

Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” will remain a dominant #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio and hot adult contemporary airplay charts.

“Shape Of You” received 16,703 pop spins during the first six days of the March 19-25 tracking week and 6,495 spins within that window. The counts, which respectively top the same-time-last-week marks by 3.5% and 2.0%, comfortably position Sheeran’s single at #1 on the building charts.

No song is within 1000 spins at either format; no song, therefore, represents a threat to its positions.

This will mark its sixth consecutive week atop the former and fifth straight frame at #1 on the latter. It has only been on the charts for twelve weeks total.
