“STAR” Getting New Showrunner For Season Two

STAR [FOX]

For the second time in its run, FOX’s “STAR” will replace its showrunner.

Season one showrunner Chuck Pratt will not be returning for season two. Numerous sources confirmed the news Thursday morning.

According to THR, Pratt had always planned to depart following the first season. There is accordingly no bad blood associated with his exit.

Pratt took over showrunner duties from Charles Murray. Murray left the post this past September, reportedly over creative differences with creators Lee Daniels and Tom Donaghy.

“STAR” concluded its first season Wednesday night. It will return for season two at some point during the 2017-18 season.
