Lorde’s “Green Light” Soars In 2nd Week On Billboard Hot 100

Lorde [NBC]

Lorde’s “Green Light” debuted at #100 on last week’s Billboard Hot 100.

The catch? That position was based on less than a half-day of sales and streaming activity and three-and-a-half days of radio.

This week’s position, based on a full week of activity in all three areas, is naturally much higher.

“Green Light” takes #19 on this week’s chart.

In earning that position, “Green Light” quickly becomes Lorde’s third-highest-charting entry on the Hot 100. Only her multi-week #1 “Royals” and #6-peaking “Team” went higher.

“Green Light” is the lead single from Lorde’s forthcoming sophomore album “Melodrama.”
