Train Scheduled To Perform “Play That Song” At Radio Disney Music Awards

Train [ABC]

Last Friday, Radio Disney revealed the nominees for the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.

This Friday, it confirmed the first performer for the upcoming ceremony.

Radio Disney revealed that Train will perform its gold-certified hit “Play That Song” at the ceremony, which tapes April 29 and airs April 30.

Frequently requested by Radio Disney listeners, “Play That Song” has spent nine weeks in the youth-skewing pop station’s Top 30. Columbia has actually been citing the Radio Disney support (a sign that the song is connecting with young listeners) when marketing “Play That Song” to pop radio programmers.

Sofia Carson, Kelsea Ballerini, Jenna Ortega, Jordan Fisher and Alex Aiono will be co-hosting this year’s show.
