Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human” Pacing For #1 At US Alternative Radio

Rag’n’Bone Man’s international breakthrough “Human” is set to claim the top spot on Mediabase’s US alternative airplay chart.

“Human” received 1,988 spins during the first five days of the March 5-11 tracking week. Up 5.6% from the count at this time last week, the tally slots Rag’n’Bone Man’s single at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Given the lack of imminent threats from below, “Human” should be able to retain its #1 spot through the close of tracking.

“Human,” which was the most recent iHeartRadio “On The Verge” pick at alt radio, will be seizing the throne from The Lumineers’ “Cleopatra.” That song, which spent the past two weeks at #1, is #2 on the current building chart. It received 1,964 spins during the week’s first five days (-5.8% versus same-time-last-week).
