Lorde Releases New Song “Liability,” Confirms June 16 “Melodrama” Release Date

One week after releasing lead radio single “Green Light,” Lorde shared another track from her forthcoming “Melodrama.”

The singer-songwriter made “Liability” available across all major digital platforms Thursday afternoon.

In addition to releasing the song, Lorde and her Lava/Republic team confirmed a June 16 release date for the “Melodrama” album. The album is available for pre-order in advance of the mid-June launch.

“Melodrama” is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to Lorde’s multi-platinum debut album “Pure Heroine,” which arrived in the fall of 2013.

Lorde will support her new music on the March 11 edition of “Saturday Night Live.”
