Interscope Planning Hot AC Radio Push For Lana Del Rey’s “Love”

While Lana Del Rey’s new “Love” is prominently positioned at #4 on the US iTunes sales chart, it has not yet made a major mark at radio.

Interscope is hoping to soon change that reality.

The label has confirmed plans to promote “Love” to the hot adult contemporary radio format. It has not yet revealed an official impact date, but it did add the track to its official Hot AC radio roster.

A push at pop radio may also be on the horizon. “Love” was added to Interscope’s promotional Top 40/pop playlist, which features songs the label group is considering for a radio push.

The artist does not have much history at Hot AC and pop radio; the Cedric Gervais remix of “Summertime Sadness” was her only previous release to chart at the formats.
