Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” Receives Platinum Certification In US

“Alright,” a single from Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly,” recently attained platinum status in the US.

The RIAA issued the certification on February 10, 2017.

The platinum honor confirms 1 million in US units. Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Alright” is the rapper’s first single to go platinum in the US (as a lead artist).
