By February 16, both held RIAA certifications.

“Shape Of You” was formally certified platinum Thursday, while “Castle On The Hill” earned a gold certification.

The honors respectively confirm US unit totals of 1 million and 500,000. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
