Grammys: Beyonce’s “Formation” Wins For Best Music Video

A Beyonce release is officially on the board at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

The artist’s “Formation” clip won the award for Best Music Video. The prize was issued to director Melina Matsoukas and producers Candice Dragonas, Juliette Larthe, Nathan Scherrer & Inga Veronique.

“Formation” beat out “River,” “Up&Up,” “Gosh,” and “Upside Down & Inside Out.”

The award was issued during Sunday’s pre-show telecast.
