The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” Heading For Pop Radio’s Top 10

“Closer” will fall out of pop radio’s Top 10 this week, but The Chainsmokers will not be without a song in the region.

The duo’s follow-up “Paris” should secure a Top 10 position on Mediabase’s official pop radio airplay chart.

“Paris” received 3,975 spins during the first three days of the February 5-11 tracking week. The count, which bests the same-time-last-week mark by 4.9%, situates “Paris” at #10 on Mediabase’s building chart.

While the 4.9% rate of increase is well below that enjoyed in previous weeks, “Paris” should have no trouble retaining its Top 10 position through the close of tracking. There are no imminent threats from below.

“Paris” will follow “Roses,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” and “Closer” in becoming The Chainsmokers’ fourth straight Top 10 pop radio hit.

“Closer” is #11 on the building chart. If it remains below the Top 10 through week’s end (and all indications are that it will), it will be removed from the chart as a recurrent.
