Update: Due to coverage of Mary Tyler Moore’s passing, the Gwen Stefani-Celine Dion segment did not air during Thursday morning’s TODAY Show.

A representative for NBC says it will now air on Friday, January 27.

=====

Last week, NBC announced that Gwen Stefani would promote season twelve of “The Voice” on the January 23 TODAY Show.

Friday, it revealed a new date for the appearance. It also confirmed that Stefani will not be appearing alone.

Per updated NBC listings, Stefani and Celine Dion will be talking “The Voice” on the January 26 edition of TODAY. The segment will air during the 7-9AM window.

The note seems to suggest that Dion will be involved as a mentor or adviser this year.

Premiering February 27, season twelve of “The Voice” features Stefani, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys as coaches.
