Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj’s “Side To Side” Pacing For 5th Week As Pop Radio’s #1 Song

Barring a sudden, late-week collapse, it appears Ariana Grande’s “Side To Side (featuring Nicki Minaj)” will spend a fifth week atop the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Side To Side” received 9,953 spins during the first four days of the January 1-7 tracking week. While the count trails the same-time-last-week mark by 2.2%, it keeps “Side To Side” comfortably atop Mediabase’s building chart.

Maroon 5’s “Don’t Wanna Know (featuring Kendrick Lamar),” the #2 song on the building chart, trails by nearly 700 spins. It is gaining on “Side To Side,” but it appears unlikely to close the gap by week’s end.

“Side To Side” is Ariana Grande’s third pop radio #1. It is her first to spend more than two weeks atop the chart.
