Rihanna’s “Diamonds” Reaches 6X Platinum In US; “Needed Me,” “FourFiveSeconds,” “Kiss It Better” Also Earn New Certifications

Rihanna extends her lead for the most RIAA digital single certifications.

Four of her singles received new awards in December.

“Diamonds” was certified up to 6x platinum (6 million US units), while “Needed Me” reached 4x platinum (4 million).

“FourFiveSeconds” meanwhile ascended to 3x platinum (3 million US units). “ANTI” single “Kiss It Better,” which was not certified prior to December, was elevated to platinum status (1 million).

Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
