“Moana” Holds Off “Office Christmas Party,” Wins Third Straight Weekend Box Office

“Moana” continues its reign atop the US weekend box office.

Credited with an estimated $18.8 million in box office receipts, the animated film enjoys a third weekend at #1. The “Moana” cumulative total now stands at $145.0 million.

Its closest weekend competition came from “Office Christmas Party.” The new release debuts at #2 with $17.5 million.

“Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them” falls one spot to #3 with $10.8 million (cume now $199.3 million), while “Arrival” dips a place to #4 with $5.6 million (cume now $81.5 million).

“Doctor Strange” holds at #5 with $4.6 million in weekend receipts (cume now $222.4 million).
