Metallica’s “Hardwired … To Self-Destruct” Debuted With Over 800,000 Worldwide Sales

According to an official press release, Metallica’s “Hardwired … To Self-Destruct” sold over 800,000 albums worldwide during its first week.

It hit #1 in numerous international markets, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, and Sweden.

As previously reported, “Hardwired” debuted at #1 on Billboard Top Album Sales with 282,000 pure US sales and #1 on the Billboard 200 with 291,000 US consumption units (pure album sales + track sales/10 + track streams/1500).
