Little Mix’s “Glory Days” Pacing For 14-16K First-Week US Sales

An opening week US sales projection has finally emerged for Little Mix’s “Glory Days.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the girl group’s fourth studio album is on track to sell 14-16,000 pure US copies this week. The tally would mark a decline from the 22,000 opening sales figure posted by previous album “Get Weird.”

“Get Weird,” of course, benefited from a stronger US campaign. Its lead single “Black Magic” impacted radio months prior to the album’s release and was also promoted during US television appearances.

Lead “Glory Days” single “Shout Out To My Ex,” on the other hand, has not yet officially gone for US radio adds.

Depending on how holdover and holiday releases fare in the latter portion of the week, “Glory Days” has a shot at a Top 20 bow on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. “Get Weird” debuted at #9 on Top Album Sales.

Projections for total consumption or the album’s debut position on the Billboard 200 consumption chart were not available at press time.

“Glory Days” will meanwhile challenge for #1 in the group’s UK home.
