Empire [FOX]

Last week’s “Empire” set series lows in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

This week’s episode posted gains in both columns.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Empire” drew a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating and 8.37 million total viewers. The numbers top the 2.9 rating and 8.15 million viewer mark garnered by last week’s broadcast.

“Empire” also retained its status as the night’s #1 program (and broadcast television’s #1 drama) in adults 18-49. It was Wednesday’s #2 show in total viewers (beneath “Survivor”).

While “Empire” was up this week, lead-in “Lethal Weapon” was down slightly. Whereas last week’s episode posted a 1.8 rating and 7.02 million in total viewers, this week’s installment scored a 1.7 and 6.61 million.
