The Chainsmokers & Halsey’s “Closer,” Calvin & Rihanna’s “TIWYCF” Reach 5X Platinum In Australia

While it is no longer the #1 song in Australia, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” continues to generate ample consumption.

This week, it moves past the 5x platinum threshold.

ARIA announced the certification in conjunction with the latest official singles chart, on which “Closer” appears at #3.

The 5x platinum honor confirms 350,000 Australian units.

— “Closer” is not the only new recipient of a 5x platinum award. Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (featuring Rihanna)” also ascends to quintuple platinum this week.

It appears at #45 on the latest ARIA chart.
