Daya’s “Hide Away” Earns Double Platinum Certification In The United States

US music fans have not hidden their love for Daya’s “Hide Away.”

The artist’s breakthrough single has ascended to double platinum.

Issued by the RIAA on November 3, the certification confirms 2 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Daya, who recently released her debut album, also has a platinum single in “Sit Still, Look Pretty.” She meanwhile appears as a featured artist on The Chainsmokers’ triple platinum smash “Don’t Let Me Down.”
